Remote Medical International UK Ltd is looking to hire a Recruiter to work with the UK Talent Team. This role will be based in our South Shields office, when government guidelines allow. Remote Medical International Recruiters will be responsible for identifying potential talent and expanding the current database of personnel as well as matching personnel to client requirements. The recruiter will be responsible for the full life cycle of candidates from point of contact to placement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Daily passive and active candidate sourcing • Communicating across the globe on a daily basis • Creating and developing relationships with candidates • Networking • Screening candidates and matching them to vacancies • Advertising vacancies using relevant job boards etc. • Conducting competency interviews with candidates and providing detailed feedback reports • Arranging second stage technical interviews when required • Preparing candidate CVs for submission to clients • Building the candidate database, ensuring all candidates' full details are stored and kept updated • Conducting verification checks on candidates including verification of professional qualifications, background checks, work history verification, employment references • Liaising with Account Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure smooth onboarding of candidates • Attending internal team meetings and training • General administration of candidates • Hitting placement and KPI targets ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Good at prioritising • Good computer and keyboard skills • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) • A good grasp of the English language (spelling and grammar) • Keen attention to detail • The ability to show initiative QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in the oil and gas or renewables sector • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage a wide range of tasks simultaneously • Ability to be a self-starter with effective negotiating skills and excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative • Flexible attitude towards working hours • Ideally degree qualified • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Excellent administration skills • Ability to build relationships with candidates
