Qualified Social Worker – Children With Disabilities Team

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Children With Disabilities Team within a London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels. The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes: • To work within a multi-disciplinary approach to provide early help and a statutory social work service for children with disabilities; undertaking child in need and carers and child protection assessments, undertake care package reviews and contribute to continuing care and Education, health and care plans. • To work within a multi-disciplinary context to safeguard and provide a high quality corporate parenting service for children looked after with disabilities to maximise their life chances. • Assess and help families access provisions which may include a range of universal provisions; short breaks, individual budget or Direct payments, personal care, mobility, communication, social, psychological or behavioural management support, advocacy and services for young people with a disability preparing for adulthood. To ideal candidate will have: • Social Work England registration • Eligibility to work in the UK • Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA) Working with Ackerman Pierce you will be guaranteed weekly payment and access to continued profession development, including a dedicated consultant to support you through the interview and on boarding process.
