You will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects from inception through completion to ensure projects are completed within time, scope and budget, you will produce plans, designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed.You will drive delivery of the project in collaboration with the SRO, Business Lead and Working Group, working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project. Additionally, you will define project vision, scope and objectives by ensuring a comprehensive initiation document and business case are prepared, forecast resources needed to meet objectives and effectively manage resources through the project and prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.Essentially, you will have a proven ability to deliver projects to scope, budget and timelines, with experience of seeing projects through the full lifecycle and delivering project objectives and experience of end-to-end project planning and resource management.You will have the ability to proactively manage risks and mitigations, management of budgets, including forecasting and cost control and have good business acumen in project planning and management.You will have a working understanding of project management delivery methodologies, project lifecycles/delivery frameworks and best practices, be result focused, collaborative, innovative and operationally driven individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills, and have technical competence in MS Office, particularly Project and PowerPoint.Experience in using project methodologies such as Six Sigma, PRINCE2, Agile or similar, an understanding of software development lifecycle best practices, and experience in the financial services industry, would be beneficial but not essential.View the full job description.
