Product Technical Manager

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome, who are actively seeking to recruit a Product Technical Manager to the join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Responsible for ensuring food legislation for all products produced and imported into the UK are correct and accurate

Technical checks of artwork for all products produced and imported into the UK
Responsible for ensuring any admin required for the sites based outside of the UK is completed
Help to resolve any issues arising from the sites outside of the UK
Communicate effectively with all non-UK sites
Active participant in the UK site internal auditsWhat you will need to succeed:

A self-starter – able to work under their own initiative.
Adjust to requirements of chilled and ambient products
An understanding of the UK retailers and their technical requirements
Legislation knowledge would be an advantage
Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment
French speaking would be a distinct advantagesWhat you will receive in return:

Salary to £45,000 per annum DOE
4 days in Frome, with 1 day in London
Travel to customer site in UK/EU
Hours: 08.30 to 5.30PM
Company pension 6% employer contribution (Salary exchange)
25 days holiday + 8 Bank holidays
Company sick pay – 3 months full contractual pay
4 x Death in Service
