We are assisting them with the recruitment of a ‘Product Application Specialist’ who will be responsible for supporting the sales process and developing further opportunities for growth.

This is a great opportunity for a recent (MSc) Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry graduate, or a laboratory professional looking to transfer their skillset to a techno-commercial role.

Product Application Specialist Key Responsibilities:

•         Engage with clients to increase revenue and growth opportunities

•         Utilize data mining and customer profiling to generate sales leads

•         Identify cross selling and up selling opportunities

•         Providing high quality technical advice and support, including handling customer complaints

•         Maintaining and developing strong relationship with customers

•         Collaborating with the marketing team and internal colleagues to ensure an ideal customer experience

Product Application Specialist Key Skills:

•         Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry

•         Fluency in German and English is essential

•         Laboratory exposure (analytical Chemistry advantageous)

•         Sales/inside sales experience within the Pharma, Biotech or Life Sciences sectors, ideally in the field of lab consumables or products is an advantage

•         Excellent communication skills

•         Positive and can do attitude
