Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for bulk products, process plant and systems, ensuring process operations deliver company requirements for safety, product quality, cost and customer service.
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure Traffic into and out of the Process yard is controlled, secured and have appropriate and accurate document sign off
Ensure supply of product is on time, within specification to the filling lines
To comply with all Food Safety Legislation communicated through the Hygiene Policy, the Quality System and Briefings
Understand the need for operators to do jobs other than process operations, as specified by your manager
Ensure all work areas and equipment within your control are regularly and properly maintained to deliver optimum performance
Ideal Candidate
Experience working in brewery, soft drinks manufacturing, production / manufacturing environment is desirable
Tanker offload experience is desirable
Process operations experience, including blending & ingredient handling
PC Literate – MS Word and Excel
Heavy lifting experience – safe work record
Hygiene and quality workplace experience
FLT driving is part of this role, therefore an FLT license would be advantageous, though training will be provided, if necessary. Successful completion of the training will form part of the probationary requirements.
Shunter driving is also part of this role, therefore a driver's license is required. Training will be provided for candidates who don't already have a shunter licence. Successful completion of the training will form part of the probationary requirements.
