Private Client Relationship Manager

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Private Client Relationship Manager is to execute outstanding client service on behalf of the business practice. This involves providing direct technical support to the Managing Director and Financial Advisers and ensuring business is processed accurately and efficiently. This customer facing role also involves participating in client meetings with Private Clients where exceptional interpersonal skills are essential to ensuring a first-class client experience.

The Private Client Relationship Manager is a key team member who works closely with colleagues in the professional support team, client servicing and adviser teams as a direct liaison with the Private Clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • · Attend client meetings with potential and existing private clients as required

· Daily liaison with private clients through email and phone calls in a professional, efficient manner

· Main point of contact for all private clients within the company

· Client meeting preparation including research, analytics and creation of client packs with the support of the Administrators & Trainee Paraplanners

· Responsible for new business applications including cash lump sums, regular contributions and protection, including amendments as requested

· Responsible for analysing the suitability, and ultimate processing of investment and pension replacements

· Ensuring cases submitted to the compliance team are compiled in accordance with the advice frameworks, and meet minimum expectations for scoring

· Liaise with third parties to ensure that business is processed in a timely manner, including St James’s Place administration centres and head office

· Document all client data correctly and in compliance with regulations

  • · Maintain current client files and transaction logs (including prospective business) in CRM systems

· Undertake cash flow modelling

· Deliver bespoke private client monthly reports

  • · Carry out Drawdown reviews

· Handling of Corporate schemes as required

· Arrange meetings with existing and potential clients as required

  • · Involvement in the overall Private Client proposition and delivery

· Attend client and company events as required

QUALIFICATIONS


· Financial services experience preferred (but not essential)

  • · Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII) advantageous (but not essential)

· Degree level qualification (or equivalent industry experience)

  • · MS Office

· Cash flow modelling system

  • · FE Analytics

· CRM/business processing system

· Company Intranet
