Part Time 2:1 Primary LSA, Royston About the School and the 2:1 LSA position: Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work 2:1 with a Year 3 student with Autism and behaviour difficulties. • We are looking for an LSA to work on a 2:1 basis with a student with complex difficulties including Autism and behaviour difficulties. • You will based in a local community center and will supporting a Tutor to help keep the student engaged. • This is a temporary role to start ASAP and continue until the end of the summer term, with the possibility of continuing in September. This position is to start ASAP so if you already hold a DBS registered on the update service, this would be advantageous. Contract Details for the 2:1 LSA role: • Location – Royston • Position – 2:1 LSA • Type of work – Supporting a student with Autism and behaviour difficulties on a 2:1 basis • Start date – ASAP • Contract type – Temporary • Full time/part time – Part time Monday to Friday • Minimum rate of pay – £15 per hour Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the 2:1 LSA position: • Previous LSA experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire. • Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous • A passion for working with and making a difference to children with SEN. • Pro Active and a willingness to join in with activities. • You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
