Due to business change & planned growth, Transition partners require a highly capable & driven Operations Manager to oversee the strategic development & implementation of Transition Partners “ways of working” including PROCESSES, SYSTEMS, STANDARDS, STRUCTURE & CULTURE. The purpose of the role is to provide operational and technology leadership across the business positively impacting cost and competitive advantage. IT & business systems plays a major part in our business and we are looking to develop further current legacy and new systems supporting process improvement and business growth.The incoming manager will work closely with various departmental heads on automating a number of manual processes as well as improving the quality of data that is captured in the various business systems.We have a number of exciting projects for 2021 focused around possible CRM replacement or major up haul, operating system upgrade and creating a consultancy.The existing Board of Directors is typically focused on recruitment/sales activity and we require a strong technology leader to provide clear guidance on IT and business systems with a view to taking the business to a fully automated team. Responsibilities of the Role: Business leadership Discuss with the CEO, board and team leaders on how their processes could be improved with technology and process improvement.To build and implement an IT strategy for the business that adopts modern best practices in IT delivery – to achieve productivity, compliance and cost-effectiveness.Contribute to the strategic direction and strategy implementation and align the operational and technology activities to the company Vision.Be a visible and proactive leader of the business, supporting, challenging and holding people accountable across the business.Represent the business where appropriate at internal and external events, meetings and trainingBuild and maintain the culture through across the teamManage the team meeting (weekly) & board meetings (monthly), ensuring that key projects and deliverables are reviewed and updated through to the senior management team. Define change agenda across all parts of the business including but not restricted to service excellence programme; training requirements; marketing; CRM plans; communications; client feedback.Partner with finance and business heads to ensure that specific business plans are appropriately developed and supported.Manage and develop performance metrics across the firm, with the ability to analyse and make recommendations to the owners including client reports, research reports, etc. Operations Review and design key business reports detailing relevant growth and risks.Excellent knowledge of reporting measures and data analyst including management information.Lead the selection and evaluation of suppliers, providing high quality delivery. Participate in the implementation of new capability initiatives from application, content, e-commerce, CRM & data analytics.Manage the relationship between third party suppliers to ensure high quality deliverables and value for money.Provide operational direction that influences and supports operational excellence.Devise and implement business strategies and guidelines.Devise and implement integrated business process that delivers improved efficiency, quality and productivity.Manage external partners.Ensure that corporate governance is managed, including company policies.Oversee Marketing and Recruitment Technology Provide technology / IT direction that influences and supports technological excellence.Experience of WordPress and using Hubspot.Defining new software and infrastructure requirements across the businessProvide the technology to enable operational excellence.Review and provide technology that provides competitive advantage.Manage external partners. Other aspects of the role include but are not limited to: Partnering with business heads, HR, and external training resource to ensure that the people agenda is aligned to the strategic needs and objectives of the business.Work with finance team to produce meaningful management accounts; budgeting, forecasting, cash flow (monthly, quarterly & annually)People Management. Hiring, onboarding, management & development of our people including appraisals, training & development, performance management & career planning.Managing the running of Leeds & Berlin offices, and their infrastructure Support marketing and events through operational support where required.
