Hours:- Working 40 hours a week on a shift rotation.

Desired Experience

• • Level 2 & 3 in Childcare as a minimum, though ideally a degree qualification in Childcare and EYPS/EYTS • Must have one to two years of experience • Must have or be able to undergo an enhanced DBS check Duties / Responsibilities: • Safeguarding children and promoting their welfare at all times
• Adhering to the policies and procedures of the Day Nursery and compliance with the EYFS, H&S legislation, and within Ofsted guidelines • Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery
• Working as part of a team and planning appropriate activities in line with EYFS • The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs and positive behavioral management and keeping of development records/observations
• Forming and maintaining strong partnerships with parents and ensuring that regular feedback regarding children’s learning and development is shared
• Preparation, care, cleanliness, and maintenance of the playrooms and equipment
• Supervision of meals and mealtimes and, where appropriate, preparation of babies’ bottles
• Keeping and monitoring accident, incident, and risk assessment records
• Offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background
