The Site Engineer will manage and undertake all Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fabric maintenance duties including handyman/woman works and reactive attendances at the designated client site.
To complete PPM works, Reactive response works and Statutory testing as delegated by the Helpdesk or line manager.
To ensure all work is completed in the safest manner and to generate additional chargeable works where appropriate Essential to the role:
– Minimum of level 2 in a recognised relevant apprenticeship such as Electrical Installation, HVAC, Air Conditioning.
In addition, certification for the following would be advantagous
- 18th Edition, Legionella Awareness, Asbestos Awareness, Refrigerant Handling To Ensure all FM task instructions and records are completed and returned to the helpdesk/call centre and all site logbook records are updated and maintained in accordance with company policy and statutory compliance
The work will routinely require working from steps, ladders and scaffold systems.
It will also involve working with a wide range of hand tools and power tools safely and proficiently.
The role requires a degree of physical fitness as manual handling is required.
The role is predominantly single site based, however the company reserves the right to require flexibility in the role whereby the job holder may from time to time provide cover within the wider geographic area if necessary and where reasonable but according only to critical business needs.
