Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Hanley, Stoke on Trent
Hours of Work: 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a management accountant to join our UK Finance Team.

Role Summary:

The position will cover a broad area of responsibilities including:

* Assisting in all aspects of the finance department including weekly sales and month end reporting.

* Working closely with the Financial Controller and be able to provide cover in his absence

* Margin reporting and analysis

* Preparing quarterly vat returns.

* Check submitted expenses in line with policy and prepare for approval

* Assist in preparation of various account reconciliation including balance sheet reconciliations

* HMRC returns, including VAT

* Fixed asset register management

* Budgeting and forecasting

* Stock analysis and reporting

* Provide timely and insightful reporting and management information as required

* Fostering relationships with key senior managers

* Undertake project-based work for specific business strategies & initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

* Candidates should be newly qualified CIMA/ACCA with experience in similar role.

* Excellent IT skills, proficient in excel (look-ups, and data tables)

* SAP experience would be advantageous

* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

* Self-motivated, able to prioritise and meet all deadlines
