Job Description

We’re looking for a male CAREGiver to support a gentleman in Freshwater to help him become confident accessing the community, have a long-term companion and able to feel reassured that someone is always close by. This gentleman has an Ileostomy, Urostomy and also lives with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and is in need of some of male company to assist with a variety of daily activities which include:
Supporting with personal hygiene (Urostomy + Ileostomy after training)Daily outings to pubs/restaurants – companion trips!Swimming activities and visiting the gymSupport with physio routine and daily exerciseAssistance with lawn mowing and general house keeping
This position will be working in block shifts and set at the same time each week, ensuring continuity and productive routines!


We ask of 6-12 months worth of care experience for this position where you’d be providing more complex support with a Urostomy and Ileostomy.

A caring nature and reliability is something we look for, to ensure that our client can feel reassured in knowing someone is there when need be.

A driving licence with access to reliable transport is essential to assist with taking this gentleman to appointments / daily outings across the Island.
