The Role:

Sofidel UK are currently recruiting for a confident and hardworking Machine Operator to join our team at our site in Hamilton. This role is extremely important to the manufacturing process of our well-known brands of facial tissue and sits inside a busy production line. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating our established brands of facial tissue by operating and monitoring the machines along the production line. Working on a full time basis this role is ideal for someone who is looking for further exposure to a manufacturing process and the operations of HIM machines.  The ideal candidate will have had exposure to night shifts as well as early morning work and have demonstrable experience working within a production line. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Play a key part in the production line, operating as a team to produce the finished product 
* Work to KPI targets set 
* Execute all operational tasks with excellence
* Program machinery to product specification and report any problems or issues to through the correct procedure 
* Maintain high standards of house keeping at all times 
* Carry out quality checks of products produced and report any faults in accordance with workplace procedures 
* Follow internal processes and procedures
* Adhere to H&S standards at all times 

Additional skills / requirements:

* Previous manufacturing experience
* Team working 
* Communication 
* Ability to problem solve
