ROLE: Machine Operator LOCATION: Corby HOURS OF WORK: 1400-2200 (Monday – Friday) BASIC SALARY: £11.04 per hour ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: 5% bonus, pension Company Profile Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their organisation based in Corby on a permanent basis. In this Machine Operative role, you will be responsible for: • The effective running of the lines. • Run machines at the optimum cycle time. Investigate, report any machines/jobs that cannot achieve standard cycle times. • Work with engineering to improve machine reliability and cycle time optimisation. • Achieve KPI's set by the management team. • Work as part of the operator team whilst the line is in production. • Organise staff to ensure the correct number of people are on the line. • Communicate with all levels of the business when required. • Ensure everyone adheres to all company policies and procedures. In order to be successful as a Machine Operative you must: • Work in a safe manner at all times and follow the Health & Safety policy. • Report all accidents, unsafe conditions and practices to the Manager. • Assist with carrying out Risk Assessments and accident investigations. • Maintain a good standard of housekeeping. • Be pro-active and a self-starter • Enthusiastic and energetic If you have the relevant experience our client is looking for in this Machine Operative role, we would like to hear from you.
