Learning Mentor I am looking for a learning mentor who has a love for supporting children at risk of exclusion from mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties. This role is organised by an educational service focussed on early intervention, based in mainstream schools in the Kingston and Richmond boroughs. • You will work with different students who need your support – students who are struggling with their behaviour and close to facing exclusion from school • You will help students with work set by the schools, however your main focus will be behaviour management, mentoring and progressing positive communication We are looking for applicants who have experience of working with children ideally in a 1:1 intervention, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, counselling or youth work capacity. Pay is between £75 and £95 per day, dependent on experience, and you will be provided with a work phone for communication with the head of service and other members of staff.
