About the role Haslemere is a multi-agency residential assessment service dedicated to working in partnership with a range of specialist professionals to provide care for up to six children and young people between the ages of 11-15, who present with a range of challenging and complex needs.

We are looking for committed key workers who have the skills and qualities to support and manage procedures, to deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people of Haringey.

About You Some of the key responsibilities include: To complete comprehensive multi-agency assessments to identify their challenges and to provide clear guidance to ensure that the right exit strategy is sought.

Developing skills in trauma informed practice.

To ensure communication with the young people is appropriate and to take into account the choices, needs and wishes of each young person, whilst keeping in mind their complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Working in the context of our AMBIT model.

To plan, evaluate, implement, and review individual plans in order to enhance the capabilities and independence of the service users.

To have an understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines that ensures compliances with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection, and other statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have had previous experience of working within a residential children’s home and will hold Health and Social Care Level 3 or the equivalent.
