Role – Senior HR and Payroll Officer Salary – £30,000 – £35,000 p.a. Location – High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Do you have an HR qualification? Atlas Employment are delighted to be working with a brand-new client based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, who require a Senior HR and Payroll Officer to join their quickly expanding team. They are looking for someone with a CIPD or HR qualification and at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, with a proven knowledge of payroll and current legislation. What will you be doing as the Senior HR and Payroll Officer? • Provide a core HR function: – Directly supporting the HR Director and other line managers alongside local group policy – Providing pragmatic and comprehensive HR advice • Full employee life cycle: – Recruitment – Candidate selection – Managing interview process – Onboarding and enrolling new joiners onto the benefit schemes • ER: – Consulting on issues related to workplace disruptions and performance management – Assisting in managing staff relationships – Providing advice and support on the disciplinary and grievance procedures – Advise and support on change management • Payroll: – Checking and processing monthly payroll within the agreed timelines – Managing the application of benefits – Filing annual documents such as P11Ds and P60s – Ensuring compliance with current tax and payroll legislation – Managing the transition of the new payroll system The essential criteria… • A CIPD (minimum Level 3) or HR qualification with strong knowledge of HR processes systems and current legislation • Previous payroll processing experience (full cycle) • Numerical confidence and high level of interpersonal skills • Can work on own initiative and take ownership of tasks Easy transport routes from; Aylesbury, Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Princes Risborough, Beaconsfield, Amersham, Ruislip Status – Full-Time (Mon-Fri) with some flexibility to support a 24/7 business If you think you may be a suitable candidate for the Senior HR and Payroll Officer role, please contact Darcie Walker at Atlas Employment, on or email Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
