Currently seeking an ambitious HR Advisor to join a small, friendly HR team located in the Rhondda area. The successful candidate will have a passion for both manufacturing and human resources and ideally 2-3 years experience in a busy HR role. Client Details Page Personnel are proud to be representing a successful manufacturing business in the Rhondda area, actively seeking the support of an additional HR Advisor on a temporary basis. Description The responsibilities of the HR Advisor include: • Prepare general human resources documents. • Ensure that the starter and leaver processes are correctly followed. • Work with the management team to coordinate internal staff changes and staff leavers. • Assist HR team • Provide support and advice on a full range of employee relations activities including performance management, absence management, discipline and grievance procedures, flexible working, and equal opportunities. • Attend and guide managers through the disciplinary and grievance process and to attend meetings to take minutes and to advise on the process for legally sound outcomes. • Ensure that absence management procedures are followed with consistency across departments. • Manage an employee relations caseload efficiently and effectively, maintaining consistency across sites. • Provide advice and guidance to managers on the interpretation and implementation of HR strategy, policies, and statutory requirements. Profile The successful HR Advisor will have: • Ideally 2-3 years experience within an HR generalist position. • A CIPD qualification or similar • Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law. • Experience in managing a varied workload in a high-volume environment with the ability to prioritise your work to meet deadlines. • Excellent verbal communication skills; the ability to deal with all levels of colleagues and stakeholders professionally, confidently, and politely. • Proven experience as HR Advisor, or similar with knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices Job Offer The successful candidate for the role of HR Advisor will benefit from up to 30 days annual leave (depending on length of service), excellent development and training opportunities, Employer pension contribution (minimum 5% of your gross salary) and various other reward schemes and awards.
