The Helicopter Services Director is responsible for providing the CEO / Accountable Manager, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Boards of the company with timely and relevant information to support decision making as well as facilitate delivery of the wider strategic goals of the organisation as set out in the Strategic Plan. The role involves corporate responsibility for all aspects of flight operations and continuing airworthiness including maintenance, engineering and repairs. The successful candidate will be an articulate, technically strong, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels will succeed in this position. Requirements: • The candidate must meet the CAA requirements for an AOC Flight Operations Postholder with significant aviation experience in a relevant industry sector. • Understanding of work procedures and practices across the whole organisation and beyond, underpinned by highly developed specialist knowledge, expertise and significant practical experience • Expertise and high level of relevant practical experience in relation to monitoring, reporting, systems, controls and procedures e.g. overseeing budgets etc. • Excellent knowledge of relevant national legislation. • Operational experience in HEMS single pilot role. • Right to live and work in the uk • Holder or held an ATPL (H) The recruitment process: Upon initial application, you will be interviewed by a member of the AeroProfessional recruitment team Successful candidates will be introduced to our client and successful candidates will be invited to take part in the recruitment process which will be conducted in August. Th process will have 4 stages: 1. Face to face interview with an interview panel including the CEO 2. Psychometric evaluation 3. 2nd face to face interview including a presentation 4. Final assessment based on scenario based questions which will be conducted online. An offer is likely to be made by the end of August 2021.
