Our client is a beautiful well-known online brand offering garden, home and gifting products to their customers. The brand have a wide category of carefully ranged branded and own branded products. What to expect in this role as Head of Merchandising: • Planning and implementation of the merchandising strategy • Streamlining of processes and systems • Leading and developing a Merchandising team • The delivery of effective stock control and management of the team resources • Producing sales and margin forecasts across all categories • Managing OTB and stock intake in line with sales forecasts, and achieving KPI targets • Working closely with the buying department to support strategic range planning What you need to be a successful in this role as Head of Merchandising: • Previous experience at Head of Merchandising or Senior Merchandising Manager level, with management responsibility for a moderately sized team • Strong analytical skills, the ability to draw insight and recommendations from large volumes of data, with accuracy and great attention to detail • Ideally have worked in merchandising function within e-commerce and analytically driven retail environments • Experience of working closely with and building relationships with suppliers. • A strong communicator, with excellent internal and external stakeholder management. • Thrives in fast-paced environments and embraces change as a positive Even if you haven't gotten round to updating your CV, please get in touch today and we can sort out the rest later!
