Step Teachers are working with a School in Wood Green to source a French teacher. This is a long-term role available from January 2023. This will lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

This is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school where the executive headteacher and headteacher have high aspirations for the school and a clear vision for its expansion as part of the academy trust. They have been instrumental in designing a
welcoming community school, where there are high ambitions for all pupils.

Role:

Strong French curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

Ability to assess and report on your students when required

Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

Hold QTS or the equivalent of

Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching French

The relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
