About the role

Vision for Education are working with a secondary school Tameside to find both part-time and full-time MFL (French and Spanish) teachers to join in January 2023.

The successful teacher will join a motivated, high-performing and well-resourced MFL department. You will join a highly committed team of staff members who are passionate about their MFL, raising standards across the school, and who are determined to increase positive outcomes for all students. The school will expect the successful candidate to take responsibility for their own professional development and that of others.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of French & Spanish Teacher you will:

Be a passionate and innovative teacher of MFL with recent KS3 and KS4 experience
Hold UK QTS/QTLS or an FE qualification

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Key responsibilities

As French & Spanish Teacher you will be responsible for:

Teaching KS3 and KS4 French and Spanish in line with the UK curriculum
Contribute to developing department schemes of work, marking and planning
Fulfil all pastoral and safeguarding duties
Parents evenings and occasional after school CPD
