Fractional Lecturer in Access to HE (0.8)

(29.6 hours per week/52 weeks per year) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and creative lecturer to join our Access to HE team.

You would teach across a range of L3 Access to HE and L2 Pre-Access courses, including Humanities and Social Science, Policing and Criminology, Health Professions and Nursing & Midwifery.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a social science subject (e.g.

Psychology/Sociology) and have experience teaching Access to HE students.

You will assume personal tutor duties for two student groups and you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of retention and achievement.

You must have the ability to engage and motivate adult learners and help to prepare them for studies at Higher Education.

A teaching qualification (PGCE) is highly desirable but not essential.
