The Role: A leading, international architecture and design studio are looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their successful team ASAP on a 6-month contract with the potential to become a permanent position. You will support the Finance Manager with the analysis of the company’s design projects, provide budget vs actual reporting and assist with the company's budgeting process. In addition, this role will work closely with the wider finance team, project managers and department heads to provide insightful financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities: • Produce actual vs budget analysis reports for heads of department including commentary and summaries • Support the Finance Manager with regular updates of financial forecasts • Produce and maintain reconciliations of project financials • Support the Finance Manager with the company’s bi-annual budgeting process, including helping to consolidate departmental budgets • Providing analysis that assists with production of the final budget pack • Support the Finance Manager with R&D schedules and annual tax reclaims • Provide financial analysis for proposed staff plans for design projects • Ensure the project management system is updated and maintained • Ensure any issues are highlighted to Finance Manager on a timely basis. • Support the team with the implementation of a new project management system Key Skills: • Part-qualified, CIMA/ACCA or equivalent • Previous experience in project reporting, project management and analysis • Experience with SAGE advantageous but not essential • Excellent Excel proficiency • Ability to deliver accurate, high quality work to deadlines • Strong attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills To apply for this position please click on the pink button to attach your CV.
