Field Sales Executive – Southern Europe

Personnel Selection are currrently recruiting for an experienced Field Sales Executive to work for this fantastic global business. The role will be offered on a remote basis and the candidate can live anywhere in the UK. 

The salary is up to £35k + 10k OTE + £4700 car allowance + pension + wellness scheme + Life assurance + private medical insurance + more!

The candidate must speak English fluently, as well as at least 1 other European language (French, Spanish, Italian) and have a proven track record within sales. 

The role requires frequent travel to the South of Europe (France, Italy, Monaco, Spain), focusing on building on the existing network within the region. 

Given the nature of the product you will be working on, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have an interest and/or qualification in History. Your main clientele will be predominantly university libraries and your focus will be selling digital products. 

Duties will include:

Create and implement sales strategies and tactics for the territory.
Plan and attend customer meetings both on site and via Zoom, prioritise opportunities and efficiently follow through all stages of the sales cycle to conclusion.
Maximize sales through identifying customers' needs, matching products to those needs, preparing and delivering sales presentations, writing proposals and closing sales
Maximise sales through extensive faculty research and regular meetings with academics
Represent the division at key industry events such as conferences, exhibitions and trade shows
Cultivate and maintain extensive product knowledge of a large and growing product list
Provide detailed sales reports and maintain customer and sales information via CRM systems
Uncover opportunities and solicit information from public, school and academic librarians, subject librarians, academic teaching staff and researchers through effective questioning and listening
Work closely with the rest of the sales team and with other departments such as marketing, customer services, customer care, sales support and product development by offering market feedback and intelligence
