On behalf of ENCIRC, Adecco are recruiting for an ENVIRONMENT ADVISOR to join the ever-growing, highly successful manufacturing plant in Elton, Chester.

Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Main Responsibilities

Auditing processes for compliance and continuous improvement
Actively support the site management teams to meet Environment KPI's and targets, compiling weekly and monthly reports, with a focus on corrective actions.
Maintaining and improve ISO14001 accredited environmental management and monitoring systems to ensure environmental compliance
Coordinating Waste Management , collecting and reporting waste data, identifying waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
Working closely with our operational teams to raise awareness & improve environmental performance
Produce Key Performance Reports to meet compliance obligations for operational permits
Visible hands-on role, engaging with employees, contractors
Capturing data relating to effluent, energy, water, waste, and submit KPI's reporting

Ideal Candidate

Business Knowledge

Experienced in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems

IT skills ( Word, Excel, Outlook , PowerPoint)

Strong communication and presentation skills

Analytical & numerical skills that enable you to process and analyse data

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

Qualification / Certificate in a relevant environment subject

Knowledge of Environmental legislation and good practice

Experience in auditing preferred

Business report writing skills

Attention to detail
