English Teacher Location: Powys Pay: £138.56 Minimum Start Date: 12th April 2021 We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher of English to work in a Secondary school. The role will involve teaching English language to pupils aged 11 to 16 years old up to GCSE. This role is full time ongoing, Your role and responsibilities will include: • The delivery of KS3 and KS4 English Language • Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally • Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback • Attending departmental meetings • Planning, delivering and marking lessons. We are looking for the following qualities in applicants: • Possess an excellent subject knowledge • Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum • Maintain exceptional classroom practice • Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues Successful candidates should hold a PGCE with a relevant Bachelor's Degree and Qualified Teaching Status.
