J.P. Morgan Asset Management Digital Marketing is seeking an Email Product Manager to work across their Digital and Marketing teams on an initial 6 months contract in London.

You are an innovative digital product manager, with marketing automation experience, email transformation, interested in using data and technology to create high impact customer touch points and journeys that drive business results. You should have experience working in an agile environment, and have both the marketing and technical knowledge to translate user needs into business requirements that will help to keep J.P. Morgan Asset Management on the leading edge of the rapidly changing digital channels landscape.

You have a solid understanding of current and emerging digital technologies and marketing automation platform capabilities (e.g. SFMC). As a digital expert you may be required to create documentation and conduct internal training sessions.

This role will report to the Global Marketing Automation & Digital Events Product Owner.

The responsibilities of the Email Product Manager include, but are not limited to

  • Responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities, redesigning processes and establishing organizational support
  • Work with the regional CMO’s to understand marketing strategy & roadmaps, and translate the voice of customers/clients/partners into valuable features
  • Advocate for, and represent the roadmap to stakeholder groups, including steering committee and senior executives, building relationships and buy-in
  • Lead teams in an inclusive way, adapting leadership style to meet the needs of different teams and individuals
  • Make evidence-based decisions and tradeoffs to deliver what matters to our stakeholders and clients
  • Embody a user-centric mindset to inform design and enhancements based on client data and a deep understanding of client needs
  • Collaborates with Agile team and stakeholders to write user stories and requirements that include acceptance criteria and acceptance tests
  • Identify and manage strategic 3rd party solutions to advance our global digital communication transformation objectives
  • Develop, manage and maintain product roadmaps, priorities, and backlog, including product documentation, procedures, and sprint release notes

Qualifications

  • Experience in business process reengineering driving more value to the customer
  • Experience in digital transformation; email transformation preferred plus
  • Experience with Marketing Automation solutions; SFMC certified preferred plus
  • Track record in user-centric delivery, leveraging user research and data to ensure products have strong market-fit and create exceptional experiences
  • Track record of delivering significant business impacts in digital leadership roles
  • Experience in Agile and Lean frameworks; experience in establishing these frameworks and cadences within new teams is a bonus
  • Demonstrated supportive leadership style, including experience with cross-functional, global and multicultural teams
  • Deep understanding of customer journeys, and tangible experience in designing solutions with the end-to-end in mind
