There is a diverse population accessing the nursery which adds to the challenge and excitement of what we believe in as a Charity; that every child has the right to the best possible start in life regardless of background, culture or religion.We are looking for two Early Years Educators, at least level 2 qualified, who are experienced in working with pre-school age children on the autistic spectrum, behavioural difficulties and speech, learning and communication delays.
You will also have knowledge of formulating and implementing an Individual Education Plan, and an understanding of the Graduated Response System of assessing children’s needs and providing the appropriate support.
A competent use of spoken and written English is essential in order to effectively communicate with children, parents, colleagues, and other professionals, and to be able to produce high quality observations for the assessment of children’s development. The hours are either 9.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 12.00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only with an initial contract up to the end of the Summer term in 2022.You will be well supported by the SENDCo and Nursery team.
