Role Requirements: • Understand current DCC/DNO engagements and the needs and experiences of DNOs in working with DCC and using our network. • Develop a comprehensive engagement strategy to increase the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of engagement with DNOs to support both their and DCC’s objectives; ensuring engagement with DNOs in a comparable way to other customer groups, covering the breadth of DCC programmes and using a variety of appropriate engagement channels and approaches. Expected Experience: • Lead engagement with senior representatives from DNOs as a key part of delivering strategy. • Measure effectiveness of activity, enabling regular reporting of outcomes achieved to senior management • Lead on joining our strategic customer engagement with DNOs, with ongoing operational engagement, ensuring that information is well shared, messaging is consistent and mutually reinforcing • Identify methods to improve transparency and drive DNO input into the transformation programme, giving DNOs a chance to shape outcomes • Ensure DNO views are translated for Executive and Board consideration as part of its decision making • Ensure we close the feedback loop with DNOs through timely responses to their feedback/concerns/issues, sharing a clear rationale for decisions, explaining how their views have informed our decision making, and where relevant why DCC has decided not to act upon feedback and input. • Advocate for DNOs within DCC, bringing their voice and perspective to programmes and DCC-wide conversations, ensuring that as the business grows and develops the voice of DNOs is represented. • Understand how DCC can support DNOs’ using DCC data and enable these capabilities to assist with their transition to be a Distribution System Operator (DSO).
