• Divisional Financial Controller • £90,000-£100,000 plus car allowance + bonus • Central London (remote working until September, hybrid therafter • Listed consumer business • 14 month maternity cover A Divisional Financial Controller is required to work for a fast growth, listed consumer business, based in London but with remote working available. This is a 14-month maternity cover, offering a global remit (EMEA region), with a direct reporting line to the exec team based in the US. You will be working in a high-achieving, deadline driven environment and for a business that has achieved significant growth including a 20% increase in global revenue in 2020. Managing 4 direct reports, with 20+ indirect reports, you will oversee the AP, credit management, payroll and international accounting teams. The role will have significant number of projects that you will manage within the 14 months including supporting with the expansion into new international territories. Responsibilities will include: • Oversight of the accounting for the EMEA region, ensuring the monthly and quarterly close are completed in a timely manner • Ownership for the consolidation of the monthly financial statement and annual reporting under US GAAP • Leading, developing, and motivating 4 direct reports, with responsibility for 20+ indirect reports • Management of multiple internal and external stakeholders including attending monthly and quarterly senior management meetings and working as the key point of contact for external auditors • Lead on 6 projects during the 14 months including the launch of new international entities • Implementation and review of new internal controls, creating new KPI frameworks and ensuring effective documentation of new workflows The successful candidate will have previous experience managing a large international finance teams including previous experience managing the financial/management accounts, credit control and accounts payable teams. You will have experience working for a consumer business with inventory knowledge, EMEA entity experience and experience working for a US listed business are beneficial. A strong leader is required with the ability to develop and motivate their team as well as manage stakeholders both internally and externally.
