Demand Planner Are you an experienced Demand Planner or Production Planner? Are you looking to be part of a business that continues to adapt and move forward on an exciting upward journey? Based in Tamworth this specialist manufacturing business offers bespoke products to fit their individual customers requirements and has continued to grow throughout the pandemic. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager the purpose of this role is to plan and maintain the schedules for all products. You will work closely with the Operations Team to ensure that stock levels are planned, scheduled and maintained whilst ensuring the best possible cost. Responsibilities • Liaise with sales to identify product specific requirements and order materials accordingly. • Liaise with customer service team and operations team to plan provisional and final manufacturing schedules. • Continually review adherence to production schedules and replan accordingly and ensure that the customer service team are updated accordingly. • Introduce controls to ensure production schedule is maintained • Continually review stock levels of all supplied and internally manufactured components to ensure they support schedule requirements • Raising of production PO’s in line with the production plan to ensure material availability • Develop, lead and implement a robust forecasting solution to streamline the process Experience Required • Experience in manufacturing • Previous experience in a similar planning role • Able to always maintain a good relationship with vendors. • Ability to lead problem solving in your own area/discipline • Ability to work autonomously and on own initiative. • IT Literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages • Must hold a Full, valid UK Driving Licence Qualifications • GCSEs or equivalent qualification in Mathematics & English – Grade B or above Essential Details Position – Demand Planner Experience in – Planning/ Supply Chain Location – Tamworth Salary – £25 to 30k + 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Privacy notice: At H2 Consultancy we take your privacy seriously.
