Data Engineer / BI Consultant (Python/Power BI) Methods are looking for a Data Engineer / BI Consultant to join a project currently in flight with a fantastic partner of ours. The role will be offered on an initial 6 month basis, and will be completed remotely.Please note that the role has been deemed to fall inside IR35.Essential Skills- An undergraduate degree in a numerical subject- Practical experience of building and implementing machine learning models to solve business problems- Experience of accessing and analysing data using language/tools/databases such as Python, R, SQL, etc- Extensive work with Power BI creating dashboards etc- Experience of using Gradient Boosting Machines, Random Forest, Neural Network or similar algorithms- Experience of working as a data scientist or quantitative/statistical analyst- Strong knowledge of Microsoft tech stack- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud platform- Commercial experience manipulating many types of data- Experience working with Data Lakes
