Pause is looking for a Data and Insight Analyst to help us to measure, understand and demonstrate the impact we have. If you're curious, analytical and motivated to help shape how we use data to improve our services and the lives of the women we work with, this could be your next job! The role will work closely with Pause’s Knowledge and Evaluation Lead, supporting Practices and promoting a culture which values data and learning. The successful applicant will be passionate about data – you'll know how to use it to report impact, generate learning and drive service improvement. You'll have a high level of attention to detail, an ability to identify trends and a willingness to support others to understand and communicate data. You will be committed to improving outcomes for marginalised groups and will play an integral part of a team where everyone takes an energetic, flexible and collaborative approach to their work. The main responsibilities of the post holder are to: • Proactively contribute to a culture which values and learns from data. • Provide support to Pause Practice and national team staff on using Apricot (an electronic case management system) – including facilitating training, answering queries and creating learning resources. • Lead on Apricot system updates, liaising with the Pause network and Gallery Partnership (providers of the Apricot System) to ensure that improvements support practice. • Support the Knowledge and Evaluation Lead in using data to understand and demonstrate outcomes and impact, cascading knowledge and learning across Pause to improve practice. • Create accurate reports for internal and external use, analysing data to identify key issues, trends and areas for further exploration. • Use data to support Practice sustainability and develop business cases for Pause Practices. • Support the ongoing development/improvement of Pause’s approach to Cost Benefit Analysis. • Visualise data in a way which is easy to understand and interrogate, using both Excel and Tableau. General requirements: • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. • Undertake mandatory training on key areas of work e.g. safeguarding and data protection. • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and local protocols including for example the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), confidentiality policies, organisational policies, and Health and Safety at Work requirements. • Be part of the national Pause network, working within a flexible framework (which may include occasional travel and work outside of usual office hours). • Carry out duties in line with organisational policy on equality and diversity and be sensitive and caring to the needs of others, promoting a positive approach to a harmonious working environment and contributing to a healthy, happy workplace. • Carry out any other duties in line with the role as required.
