Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: Mon – Thurs 9am – 5.30pm, Fri 9am – 4.15pm

Hybrid working after initial training period, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Their reputation for creativity, service, customer satisfaction and quality is second to none.  They have an impressive client list and have offices in Manchester, London, Germany, Ireland, USA, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shanghai.

To support their continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join the team.  Reporting to the Head of Transactional Services, you will be responsible for a team of credit controllers driving the cash collection from a vast range of global accounts within the debtor ledger.

What’s involved in the role:

Effective management of a team of credit controllers and their associated accounts.
Appropriate KPI setting and ensuring a pro-active approach to collecting outstanding debt.
Developing as strong understanding of the company systems and processes to aid the day to day management of the team and drive improvement.
Aid in the training and development of team members to enhance results.  Maintaining existing process guides and producing new ones when required.

Management of customer account set up including the setting and controlling of credit limits utilising external credit reports and in consideration of the established client relationship.
Timely management of queries including the effective administration of individual queries across the team, appropriate reporting to the business and escalation of key issues, internally or externally, when necessary.

Responsible for the initial credit control of new business.  Aiding the implementation and set up as required.
Production of reports, including both standard monthly reporting and ad-hoc data to aid collections.
Be a champion for new projects covering master data integrity, ‘right first time’ project, VAT consideration and electronic invoicing.
Ensuring great relationships are established with customers and internal colleagues.
What you’ll need:

Ability to demonstrate your experience in the management of a team within a credit role.
Experience of managing credit collections from blue chip clients within a global business environment.

To be target driven and strive for perfection while retaining a commercial and collaborative attitude.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport and communicate at all levels.
To be a real team player, with personality, empathy and the drive to succeed, exceptional organisational skills and excellent attention to detail are crucial for this role.
The ability to juggle and keep control of a number of tasks and remain calm whilst under pressure to deadlines.
