The J.P. Morgan Emerging Market Debt Financing team is responsible for the end-to-end origination, structuring and execution of loan capital markets transactions across CEE, CIS, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa for sovereign, corporate and FIG clients. The role will provide significant exposure to structured credit and bespoke loans in addition to both high yield bonds and structured private placements. There will be significant opportunities for client interaction from day 1 and the role will require close working relationships with other areas of the bank, including Leveraged Finance, other Capital Markets groups, Syndicate and Structuring groups, Investment Banking Coverage and Infrastructure Finance.
Preparation of pitch and marketing materials Actively participating in client meetings and calls Formulating market proving alongside syndicate teams Negotiation of legal documentation Conducting due diligence alongside credit and industry teams Helping to coordinate internal approval processes Organizational aspects related to deals
Strong investment banking experience with an understanding of investment banking products Preference for candidates with prior Debt Capital Markets experience with demonstrated interest and experience in emerging markets Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills Good organizational/project management skills and a rigorous eye for detail Experience in dealing with clients and other transactional advisers Strong team player Fluent in English with outstanding oral and written communication skills Proficient in MS office applications, knowledge of Loan Analytics and Bloomberg a plus Strong academic credentials
