The Welwyn & Hatfield office is now looking to recruit additional people to join our fabulous team of CAREGiver’s who look after our older client’s in their own homes within their community.

Home Instead prides itself on our fantastic team of CAREGivers, and they truly give their all to their clients, working within their own communities ensuring that the people who need support and assistance get the very best level of service possible.

There really is no rush with us, all of our client visits are for a minimum of one hour, so the CAREGivers have the opportunity to really support the client and develop a lasting relationship with the people they work with.

We look after people who reside in the following locations : Borehamwood, Brookmans Park, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Welham Green, Welwyn and Welwyn Garden City and surrounding villages, and are looking to recruit part-time staff who can travel within these area’s.

It is essential that you have your own ‘car’, this is because we work in the community and travel between people’s homes, and are not just travelling to one destination daily – This is non-negotiable.

We are seeking flexible CAREGivers who are happy to work evenings and weekends (alternate weekends acceptable) and who feel they have the life skills and dedication to join our highly skilled team of evening and weekend workers.

We are looking for a number of people and each will be assessed on their enthusiasm, dedication and reliability because we want to provide the very best support for our elderly clients.

If You Have The Time, Common Sense And Desire To Be Part Of Our Team And Understand That We Will Require You To Undertake a Mixture Of Care To Include
Personal Care – Washing & Dressing and continence assistance. Home Help Care – Light Housework, meal preparation, shopping. Companionship Care – Bringing a bit of happiness to people.

Qualifications

No formal experience required because we place you on our Award Winning Training scheme and fully train you to a very high standard using both e-learning modules and in-house workshops.

We do insist you have your own car – this is non-negotiable.

We also insist you have great verbal communication skills because you need to converse with clients who may have dementia or hearing loss.

Additional Information

All of our positions are part-time and we like our CAREGivers to have flexible working patterns that will require some evenings and shifts on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate week-ends. Tell us what you would like to do and we will try to work with you where we can.

All positions are subject to four references and successful DBS clearance.

All positions require the CAREGiver to have their own transport.
You will be expected to work in multiple locations on a daily basis.
Job offers are subject to successful completion of assessments.
