Ailsa Care Services are looking for an experienced Care Scheduler to join their Falkirk office team. This role will be Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm. In addition to these hours you will be required to participate in an out of hours on-call rota (weekend on-call allowance paid in addition to salary) and may be required to provide emergency cover in the community starting from 7am until 10pm. What does this role involve? • Complete rotas for service in advance and deal with any 'last minute’ changes required to rotas • Carry out Spot Checks on our team of support workers • Carry out Supervisions sessions with our team of support workers • Chair team meetings with our team of support workers • Answer telephone in office and handle various enquiries/complaints etc. • Follow absence management protocols with our support workers • Completion of various administrative duties/paperwork • Involvement in the recruitment process • Cover shifts in the community as/when required • Be a 'role model’ whilst out in the community • Be a 'communication link’ between senior support workers and office staff • Participate in on-call rota as required and pass on all information to management (estimated 8 weekday evenings per period plus 1 weekend in 4) Who are we looking for? Ideally you come from a care background and have extensive experience in creating staff rotas and leading a team. We're looking for someone who has a flexible approach to work and who is able to communicate well with staff, management, clients and families. You'll be pro-active and and able to adapt in a fast-pace environment. Having a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is a requirement of this role. Experience in working with Elderly service users as well as children and young adults would be a distinct advantage.
