This employer is a long-established, successful family-run business based in the Hertfordshire / North London borders. They have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced cabinetmaker/upholsterer to join their after-sales customer service team. You must be smart, confident and able to deal with customers in their own homes and have the experience and ability to carry out service and basic repairs to ideally both cabinet furniture and upholstery. They also welcome applications from people with experience in either of these disciplines, as full and comprehensive training will be provided. This role plays an integral part in keeping their customer service standards to a high level and ensuring that their customers feel valued and want to return to them time and time again. Responsibilities: – Ensure that their customers are always dealt with in a courteous and professional manner. – Ability to carry out repairs to cabinetry and upholstery items. – Capability to write detailed and precise reports arising from customer home visits. – Provide consistent service to a first-class standard. Skills & Experience: – Demonstrable craftsmanship. – Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. – Ability to achieve results that balance the needs of the customer and the business. – Computer skills to a good working/understanding level. – Attention to detail. – Work well under pressure and fast paced environments. Working days and hours are any five days between Monday and Saturday from 8am to 6pm.
