As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in increasing engagement within the marketplace and focusing on year on year growth of our pharmaceutical business.

Your main responsibilities will be the achievement of sales growth and revenue targets, and liaising with customers to establish their current/ future needs, whilst promoting Company’s Pharmaceutical services.

You will also support the preparation of technical quotations, contract management, and work closely with Project Managers / Technical Teams to ensure optimal service delivery.

The Business Development Executive will be required to work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, covering the UK and in particular, both our Manchester and Melbourn sites.

To that end, the role holder will be required to travel around the UK, as the business necessitates.

ABOUT YOU •Experience of working in a commercial laboratory facility, supporting business strategy •Customer orientated with an aptitude for sales and customer service; the ability to articulate thoughts clearly in a formal manner to clients; some experience of positively influencing or negotiation •The ability to effectively time manage workloads and work on multiple projects simultaneously •Good understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry with commercial understanding and natural business acumen •Possess a strong ambition to succeed We will also consider applications from analytical chemists / scientists that have experience with other pharmaceutical products / services.
