About the role This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career in B2B solutions sales with on-going training and support provided. Your role will be to generate new revenue through sales of RSM ESL Recruitment Back Office Solutions and to promote the RSM brand. You will be speaking to Director level contacts at SME recruitment agencies. The role has a basic starting salary with benefits and excellent OTE earning potential on top. RSM UK has over 3000 staff based in 35 offices across the UK. RSM is the 7th largest accountancy and business advisory firm nationally and the 6th largest internationally. RSM Employer Services provides back office services to recruitment agency clients that supply temp and contract workers to their clients. Our services include the implementation and licencing of our SaaS InTime Pay & Bill software; and our outsourced pay & bill service which utilises our InTime software. Responsibilities Core Business Development Duties • Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycleCold call prospects generated by variety of sources – e.g. social media and networking • Respond to, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and through online software demonstrations • Provide effective relationship management to the RSM network, including Partners and prospective clients • Proactively develop and close prospective clients to achieve personal monthly targets • Support the Business Development team’s client activities and tasks • Maintain a working knowledge of all ESL product offerings • Undertake any reasonable Business Development projects and tasks, as requested by the Management Team (some travel may be required) • Liaise with delivery teams regarding new client requirements, pricing (quotations/proposals) and new business pipeline and lead times • Communicate in a professional manner – written, verbal, presentation • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables Administrative Duties • Effectively and accurately record payroll opportunities on the CRM system • Ensure documents are filed correctly (paper and electronic)Compile and manage payroll quotations and or proposals • Support compliance processes for on-boarding new clients including issuing contracts/ letters of engagement and obtaining information for anti-money laundering checks • Provide and maintain record of activities, figures, forecasting and any other records which may be required in order to keep up-to date records of new business opportunities, wins and losses • Accurately report monthly sales figures to line manager About the ideal candidate The ideal candidate will be an experienced Sales Executive with proven experience selling B2B SaaS solutions in the back office or payroll space. You’ll be responsible for winning new clients across the UK. You will be able to sell across all ESL solutions and services to help businesses solve their complex back office requirements. You will be self-sufficient and driven and experienced in prospecting and proactive in generating your own leads.Qualifications Essential • GCSE Maths and English Language – Grade C / 4 or above (or equivalent) Desirable • A-levels/degree educated Skills and ExperienceEssential • Experience of providing excellent client care in a proactive, fast paced, office-based environment • Experience communicating at Director level • Drive and a strong desire to compete and win • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently – demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work • Computer literate and technically competent using web sites, web applications etc. • Be able to demonstrate consultative approach • Be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task • Be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook • Ability to work towards strict deadlines • Attention to detail so issues are rare and limited checking of work is required • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal • Strong team working ability Desirable • B2B experience • Understanding of payroll, back office solutions and/or outsourcing • B2B internal business development or account management • Previous experience of using Microsoft Dynamics • Experience with diary and travel management • Experience of supporting senior management Diversity and Inclusion at RSM At RSM, inclusion and diversity are central to our values.
