Bid Coordination LeadWe are looking for an experienced Bid Coordination Lead to contribute to the strategic development of our tender process and support in delivering commercial growth across Cormac business streams. You will help build our brand through industry knowledge, opportunity awareness and related innovation. This is a great opportunity for you to join a collaborative team and lead in the tender process. Salary: £35,000-£38,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per weekContract: PermanentLocation: Flexible working across Cornwall and Devon About the role You will play an essential part in ensuring the delivery of works relating to Cormac’s commercial engineering and construction operations. Working collaboratively across Cormac and the wider Corserv Group, you will support the delivery of commercial and financial success through the successful winning and delivery of projects and schemes. Planning, writing and producing innovative, solution led tenders you will contribute to successful outcomes and business growth. Another pivotal aspect of the role is the development and management our social value offering and regular dialogue with colleagues, driving the carbon zero and sustainability initiatives across Devon and Cornwall. About you What you will bring to the role; A degree or equivalent plus significant experience of working in a construction or engineering industry.A thorough and detailed understanding of bid development/procurement/tendering processes in a construction environment.An Understanding of Engineering Principles and the construction process, from conception, feasibility, design, pre-construction, and construction.The ability to supervise and coordinate others and monitor individual staff performance, dealing appropriately with day-to-day performance issues About us Cormac Solutions is one of the most highly regarded, trusted, well-known companies in the South West and is committed to contributing to sustainable economic growth, resilience and safer communities in Cornwall.
