The Associate Director of Quality Improvement is a new role at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It will play a key role in the design, development and embedding of our continuous improvement approach, and will be a key player in the development of our new Trust operating model which is a central component in shaping the future of the Trust. You will work strategically, identifying and leading on key improvement initiatives across the organisation ensuring that these are well aligned to key Trust strategic priorities. Our people are what set us apart, and we will invest in your development within this role. There is a lot going on at the moment as the Trust develops it's future strategy, where a significant focus will be on working within the Cheshire and Merseyside system on the restoration and transformation of our clinical services following the pandemic. We have huge, ambitious and exciting plans to take Mid Cheshire up to the next level. We want to transform the way we deliver services to our communities in the future, taking a more integrated approach across health and social care commencing with delivering our ambition of improving our estate and infrastructure. Working with our many partners, we also seek to redesign some of our services as we plan the redevelopment of Leighton Hospital to create a digitalised hospital so that our workforce and the people of Cheshire have a hospital that provides truly outstanding healthcare facilities. We are investing heavily in our services and in the summer, we will open our new £15m Emergency Department. We are also in the process of designing a new Victoria Infirmary in Northwich and have recently been successful in securing over £20m to invest in our digital infrastructure. Our plans and ambitions don’t stop there – we want to create something much more special at Mid Cheshire and we need somebody who can lead our transformation work across the organisation. Given all we've got planned it's a great time to join us. (Band is subject to the outcome of an AFC matching panel)
