Analysis Consultant At BAE Systems CORDA, we combine analytical capabilities with consultancy skills to support our customers across the defence, security and transport sectors, and internal business functions such as HR and Finance.Our high-impact insights make the difference for our customers, whether it's enabling battle-winning capabilities, developing novel technological concepts, or driving business performance.We are seeking dynamic, analytically minded individuals to join our growing team of consultants as we build on our successes to increase our support to clients in Defence, Government and BAE Systems (for example, we recently secured the £350m ASTRID framework contract to deliver analysis across government through to at least 2025).As an Analysis Consultant, you will work within customer-facing teams and apply a range of analytical techniques to structure their problems, identify insights and develop solutions that make a real difference to their business. This will give you the opportunity to work in a stable, growing contract that is reaching new customers and markets. It will also provide you the chance to challenge yourself whilst focusing and growing your skillset flexibly across a range of high impact projects. Your Responsibilities as an Analysis Consultant may differ depending on project, but may involve: Working within project teams to deliver modelling/analysis/consultancy projects to time, cost and qualityConsulting with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutionsCommunicating and presenting findings to clientsDelivering written reports to customersEnsuring that the appropriate technical assurance is applied to your analytical work to ensure that it is fit-for-purpose and meets the client's needsBuilding and maintaining relationships with both customers and stakeholdersConducting and supporting business winning activities including customer engagement and proposal writing We'd love to hear from you if you:Are naturally inquisitive, with a passion for problem-solvingAdapt well to new challenges and environmentsAre driven to make a real impact for your customersCommunicate effectivelyCan work collaboratively in multi-organisational teamsHave knowledge and/or practical experience of applying analytical techniques and tools to real life problems. These techniques may include “hard” methods (e.g. simulation modelling, cost analysis, data science) or “soft” methods (e.g. wargaming, systems thinking, workshop design and facilitation, process mapping, KPI development)Have a degree or equivalent experience in a numerate subjectExperience working in Defence or wider Government sectors is desirable but by no means essential.
