An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Air Conditioning & Ventilation Installation Engineer to join a well-established company based in Bagshot, Surrey. The Company: They offer design, installation, repair and maintenance of Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration and Heat Recovery Systems. They are based in Bagshot but operate across London and the South East. Their specialism is in high quality bespoke systems, with projects mostly focused on the high-end residential market. They are looking for an additional Installation Engineer who will be responsible for installing high quality Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation systems. Candidates with experience working with a range of manufacturers and systems may be a good fit for this wide-ranging role. They want to build a team of friendly, dedicated staff, who are willing to go the extra mile in order to deliver the best possible service to their clients. About the role: Day to day work will be varied, dealing with varied systems to suit bespoke HVAC projects, including standard split Air Conditioning, VRV systems, residential Ventilation and specialist Wine Cellar cooling. As their focus is on specialist systems a willingness to learn and problem solve just as important as experience. Their customers have come to expect a high quality from their work, therefore a high amount of care is required. As an installation engineer you will be expected to work independently, showing initiative and responsibility. That said, they don’t expect you to know everything, and full support is always available from senior engineers. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: • Proven experience installing Air Conditioning and Ventilation. • Knowledge of VRV, Multi-split, and Ventilation systems. • Educated to NVQ level 2 or higher in an associated trade subject. • F-gas certificate. • Full UK driving licence. Required Skills: • Self-motivated: able to accept responsibility and demonstrate initiative. • Flexible: respond to business needs and demonstrate an ability and willingness to work independently and also within a close-knit team. • Customer service skills: have great communication skills to deal directly with clients, be it the end user or the primary contractor, and uphold the company’s high reputation. • Problem solving: be able to think through problems and apply general theories to equipment which you may not have encountered previously. • Attention to detail: the ability to work to a high standard. Salary & benefits: Competitive salary up to £44,000 dependant on skills and experience. • Opportunities for training. • Mon-Fri with no weekend working, Call Out rota or Out of Hours. (Will also consider applications seeking 4 days per week (pro-rata salary)) • Work within south-east region – no overnight stays required. • Company Van provided. • Essential kit, tools and clothing provided. • Phone allowance.
