JOB TITLE: Payroll Implementation Consultant (French or Italian Speaking)

START DATE: December 2022

END DATE: 2 Year Contract

PAY RATE: £60,000 to £75,000 per annum (DOE)

LOCATION: UK (Remote)

The Project

We are currently looking for a Payroll Implementation consultant to join our client to oversee the completion of the new payroll system (ADP). There is already a well established team that will be at your disposal to provide aftercare continuous improvement and of this project. You will be responsible for managing vendor activities to ensure the team executes critical implementation activities aligned with the overall transformation milestones.

Key responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and payroll vendors to lead the country payroll systems implementation
Plan and schedule implementation timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track milestones and deliverable to ensure successful execution
Design the payroll solution along with applicable gap analysis and customisation requirements
Work with the HR/payroll team to understand requirements and business needs
Collaborate with payroll vendors to document requirements
Facilitate the development of test scenarios/scripts, participate in test execution, results assessment and issue identification
Provide support during cut over and hyper care
Ensure that all deliverable are created on time and accurately as per the project schedule
Participate in payroll transformation program management activities including regular status updates
Facilitate knowledge transfer and transition of future state responsibilities to Regional Pay Services Team

What we are looking for:

Proficiency in the following functional areas:
Working knowledge of Earnings and Deductions configuration elements
Payroll Execution
Retroactive Payroll
Expatriate payroll processing
Understanding of payroll fundamentals
Prior experience supporting end-to-end payroll implementations in France/Switzerland
Prior experience working on a cross functional delivery team (HCM, Comp, Benefits, Time and Absence, Reporting, Payroll)
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision throughout all phases of an implementation cycle
Take ownership of issues & gaps between client requirement and system capabilities
