Accounts Payable Assistant – French Speaking | 9 month Fixed Term Contract | Nottinghamshire | £21k

We are currently recruiting for an entry level accounts payable assistant with French speaking abilities.  This is a great opportunity to work for a well established business on the outskirts of Nottingham where they will train you in all aspects of purchase ledger.  You will have a keen interest in finance and have the desire to learn and take your career forward in this area of finance.  This will be covering a 9 month fixed term contract, full time hours, offering a hybrid working pattern. 

Responsibilities:

Processing high volume purchase invoices
Allocating monies to various accounts
Gaining authorisations for payments
Organising purchase order numbers
Dealing with problem accounts and rectifying any discrepancies
Generating reports for payments
General accounts related duties

Ideal candidate:

Fluent in both written and verbal French
A keen interest in working within an accounts function
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communicator at all levels
IT literate with a good understanding of Excel
