Our client a multi award winning, international homewares company, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join their business. This exciting and challenging role will be responsible for managing the relationship with their largest account, a renowned national retailer. Critical impact areas for the incoming Account Director will include: – • Creating and maintaining a perfect partnership by effectively managing a range of stakeholders at a variety of seniority levels including the executive board, directors and managers across retail solutions, supply chain and digital. • Working closely with the CEO, keeping them informed of the status of the account and developing and commercialising new ideas. • Working closely with and ensuring consistent communication with the MD. • Working with various stakeholders within the retailer to develop innovative ideas to encourage additional sales both in store and online including changes to displays, digital innovations and product trends. Translating these ideas into project plans. • Designing and executing multiple project plans at one time of varying sizes and timelines and ensuring they are delivered quickly and to an exceptionally high standard. • Ensuring a holistic view and understanding of the account, appreciating the complexity of the service offered and managing all the moving parts like a “conductor of an orchestra”. • Ensuring that KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved and that the business is exceeding the retailer’s expectations and giving them tangible added value and a clear return on investment. • Having full understanding and ownership of the balanced scorecard. • Working collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure everyone is working towards a strategy which is mutually commercially beneficial, helping each other overcome road blocks to success. • Keeping on top of category trends, competitor trends, retail and ecommerce innovations and ensuring the retailer are kept informed and are taking advantage of developments in the market. • Foreseeing and rapidly resolving any issues to prevent escalation.
