Start Date: 1st September 2021 Pay: KR3 We are seeking to appoint a Keyworker/Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and forward-facing school. The successful candidate will be required, under the direction of the class teacher, to support an individual pupil and groups of pupils with additional educational needs. Ideally, applicants should have achieved at least a GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics and be confident in using computer programmes. Previous Teaching Assistant experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. The weekly hours for this part-time position are 30 and will cover both morning and afternoon sessions. The successful applicant will be expected to be in school at 8:30am until 3:30pm. It is expected that the post holder will also share in the supervision of children at lunchtime. The additional 30 minutes per day are in addition to the weekly TA hours.
